Improving student academic and behavior outcomes is about ensuring all students have access to the most effective and accurately implemented instructional and behavioral practices and interventions possible. PBIS is a decision making framework that guides selection, integration, and implementation of the best evidence-based academic and behavioral practices for improving important academic and behavior outcomes for all students. We place a high focus on teaching respect and building character in all our students. At BES, we believe that the staff, students, parents and community have come "Together for Success!"
Buckingham Elementary School 2016
Worcester County Public Schools along with Buckingham Elementary are currently transitioning from our Accreditation for Growth plan to a School Improvement Process. In order to accomplish long-term sustainable improvements, WCPS expects school improvement teams to conduct well-designed improvement plans. With careful planning and systems for cultivating collaboration, school improvement plans are written to meet a requirement rather than serving as a roadmap for change. By following the steps outlined schools will be managing Improvement Projects like other organizations, having a clear procedure helps to produce success.
