New CLI Procedures

Important changes have just been announced regarding how schools will handle COVID-19-like illness (CLI). Please click on the graphic to learn more. It is still vital that your child stays home when they are sick and answer the building entry screening honestly.

Maryland's Out of State Travel Advisory

Families, as we head into the holiday season, this is a friendly reminder that Maryland’s Out of State Travel Advisory that was issued in July remains in effect. Any student(s) traveling for personal reasons to a state (other than their state of residence, Virginia, and the District of Columbia) with a COVID-19 positivity rate above 10% must be tested for COVID-19 within 72 hours of their return. School Based COVID-19 Testing

 

Beginning on March 8, our school will be able to offer any student or staff member that becomes ill during the school day with COVID-19-like illness or who are identified as close contacts the opportunity to get tested right here in our nurse’s suite. The testing program is entirely FREE, and no insurance is required. All you need to do to have your child participate in this program is simply complete the opt-in form.
